NYFW Fall\Winter 2015 Rachel Antonoff

Rachel Antonoff pulled out all the stops for her NYFW collection. The fashion forward were brought back to old school with Antonoff's Science Fair themed show! Models stood in front of giant cardboard looking sets with science experiment explanations on them. As well as having their experiments on tables in front of them. Like the volcano experiment two models shared. Who hasn't done an experiment with volcanos? Totally awesome-sauce!!!!! How ingenious to use a Science Fair theme while displaying A-line plaid and A-line navy blue skirts that look like a school uniform! Skirts were paired with lettered sweaters like the one that read 'Seymour pussy'. He he he *smirk*.

Light button down shirt dresses made their appearance in the collection, as did maxi dresses with flower patterns. However it was tulips that took the center stage in the flower pattern. How refreshing to see! Lips were berry kissed and full and hair was Spring Break fresh off the beach wavy. Aaaaand there was oh-so-fabulous nail art-reverse French manicures using red and white with little blue dots in the center bottom of each nail.

NYFW2015: FRAME Denim

NYFW2015 for Fall/Winter is heeeeeeeere! First up is FRAME Denim! I'm so excited I could...rock some happening denim! Fashion Week ushers in with 70's style at its best. We're talking flared pants that are still fitted down to the ankle. That's right, there aren't really full on bell bottoms at this fashion moment. Instead, think of suede button up skirts, chunky belted knits, and corduroy. That's right I said it...corduroy is BACK in full effect!

Round toe boots past the calf in lush materials from alligator to leather make footwear just as funky as clothing. While models hair was smooth, shiny, and parted in the center for low maintenance chic. The fashion conclusion is in-doable yet fashion friendly denim!

Five Days of Fashion: Saunder

Saunders models displayed an array of pastel clothing confections that looked good enough to wear! Each side of the spectrum was represented in the collection as far as silhouette-voluminous iridescent shirts and sleek button downs; draped clinging evening gowns and ballon skirts. Crystal clear pastel greens, sherbet, and cornflower blue set against shimmering hand finery and crystals for arm ware were the order of the day. Models wore silver wedge heels and slip-ons that were the perfect addition to polish off each look.

Parkshoonmoo

Parkshoonmoo made magic with a neutral pallete of black, white, grey, and camel. Their fashions were all slouchy comfort with a hint of body hugging fabulousness. Sheer fabrics came out for a peek as well. It was oh so lush and free falling fabrics at Parkshoonmoo.

Nail Magic and Alta Silica Week Three

This is the beginning of week three of me using both the famous NailMagic and Alta Silica tablets. My nails are significantly stronger but they're still peeling and breaking at the tips. The directions of the NailMagic does say that the nails may break as they are growing out. I've also noticed that the polish itself has started to come off the nail tips more easily.

Overall I am pleased with the progress of my nail growth and strength. The NailMagic appears to be acting as a fortifier and almost like a glue. Because the layers of my nails seem to be merging together whereas before it was even possible to see the layers seperated.

I have been using the Alta Silica tablets along with the NailMagic. I'm doing this in order to do a wholistic approach to nail care-the inner and the outer at the same time. What use is it to use NailMagic when the internal reason that my nails are weak and splitting still persists? Hopefully using both products in congruence will alleviate any and all nail issues I have and have had.

Do note the pics that accompany this article. As a DIY nail artist *ahem lol* I realize the importance of regular manicures. Contrary to popular belief making sure ones nails are manicured is not just a matter of beauty, it is a matter of hygiene. It's important to manicure your nails while adhering to any nail treatment.

Goodnight glamazons!

Here is my DIY manicure station. All ready for my digits. I call my nails my previous dewdrops. #dewdrops

This is the NailMagic and Alta Silica tablets. As you can see I left the price on there. Just in case anyone was wondering at the cost. NailMagic is roughly $8 at Sally Beauty Supply.

Here are both of my nails butt naked! *gasp! Lol. So you can see the state of the nails.

Here I am soaking for my nails' lives. Notice 'Scandal' playing on my iPad mini in the background. #scandal #gladiators in suits

Here's is the finished result after two coats of NailMagic. Voila!
